Man accused of threatening EOCO staff granted GH¢100,000 bail

The prosecution said the accused intended to provoke a breach of the peace by disseminating the alleged false information to the public.

The prosecution said in a video recorded on May 29, 2026, the accused was heard threatening EOCO staff, saying: “We know the officers’ houses, we know where they stay and will kill you.” It further alleged that on July 13, 2026, Asiedu appeared in another video in which he allegedly misled the public by claiming that there was “an order from above, the Presidency, that no one should bring food to Dennis Miracles Aboagye,” who was then in EOCO custody assisting with investigations.
