Kpandai: Youth, bloggers urged to use social media responsibly

Experts have consistently advised content creators and social media users to verify information before publication, respect the rights and dignity of others and use digital platforms to promote constructive dialogue and national development.

Media practitioners, bloggers and content creators in the Kpandai District of the Northern Region have been urged to promote responsible social media engagement to foster peace, unity and development in the area.

Mr Wajah lamented that instead of drawing public attention to critical development challenges such as poor road networks, youth unemployment, high school dropout rates, inadequate and poorly equipped health facilities, limited educational infrastructure and insufficient investment in agriculture, many social media users had resorted to insults, character assassination, abuse and the spread of false information in the name of partisan politics.
