Korle Bu's new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory hailed by NDC Professionals Forum

The Directorate of Health of the NDC Professionals Forum has welcomed the inauguration of a new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, describing the facility as a significant boost to Ghana’s specialised cardiovascular healthcare services.“The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering timely and quality healthcare infrastructure,” the statement said, adding that expanding such facilities across the country would enable more Ghanaians to access life-saving cardiac interventions closer to their communities.

In a statement signed by its Director of Health, Dr (Med) Aaron Kwame Antoh, the Directorate congratulated President John Dramani Mahama, the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares) on the commissioning of the facility.
