‘It’s an unfortunate situation’ – Central Regional Minister mourns New Winneba victims

Central Regional Minister Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah has expressed condolences to families who lost loved ones in the violent attack at New Winneba, describing the incident as “an unfortunate situation.

Mr Eduamoah, who is also Chairman of the Central Regional Security Council, urged residents and the various groups involved in the dispute to remain calm and allow the police to investigate the incident.

Mr Eduamoah disclosed that 12 of the injured persons had been discharged as of Wednesday morning, while eight remained at the hospital undergoing further medical assessment.
