‘I will fight for NPP with a clear mind’ – Afenyo-Markin

Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, says he will not be deterred by criticism or personal attacks over his position on the reported financial losses associated with the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod).

Speaking on Metro TV, Mr Afenyo-Markin said he had no intention of responding to what he described as personal attacks, insisting that such criticism would not distract him from his responsibilities as Minority Leader.

Mr Afenyo-Markin maintained that the Minority’s concerns about the reported GoldBod losses were based on facts and urged the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to acknowledge what he described as policy failures that contributed to the situation.
