Housing sector set for revolution under new minister – Rent Commissioner

Acting Rent Commissioner Frederick Opoku is predicting a major transformation in Ghana’s housing sector under the leadership of the new Works, Housing and Water Resource Minister Ahmed Ibrahim Speaking to Isaac Addae on Morning Starr on Starr FM, Mr Opoku said his interactions with the minister over the past three days have convinced him that the Housing Ministry is set for significant changes in the coming years.

According to him, the new minister’s approach, coupled with the support of the Rent Control Department, could significantly improve the housing sector.

He expressed confidence that the changes being initiated by the new minister would lead to a significant transformation of Ghana’s housing sector.
