Here's when new health recruits must report or risk losing appointments

Kwabena Mintah Akandoh is the Minister of Healtth Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has warned newly recruited health professionals who have been posted to health facilities across the country to report to their assigned duty stations by August 20, 2026, or risk losing their appointments.

And those who have not reported, with the greatest of respect, they must report before or on August 20,” he said.

Akandoh said the Ministry of Health secured financial clearance before beginning the recruitment exercise to prevent newly recruited health professionals from accumulating salary arrears.
