Haruna Iddrisu urges swift arrest of Bole SHS teacher over alleged sexual misconduct

The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has called on the Ghana Police Service to intensify efforts to arrest a teacher at Bole Senior High School accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with a student in the school’s science laboratory.

Describing the incident as “unacceptable and shameful,” the Minister urged investigators to ensure the suspect is arrested and prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others.

So, the Police, we are watching you and how you proceed with the investigation and how you go further to prosecution to deter that unacceptable behaviour and conduct of a teacher,” he said.
