Apam SHS to be upgraded from category B to A Meanwhile, the Minister for Education has announced plans to upgrade Great Apam Senior High School from a Category B to a Category A school as part of the government’s broader efforts to expand access to quality secondary education.

Speaking at a ceremony to mark the 73rd anniversary of Great Apam Senior High School in the Central Region, Minister for Education Haruna Iddrisu said the proposed curriculum was currently under review by the GES.

He said the interventions formed part of the government’s broader strategy to improve infrastructure in selected Senior High Schools, increase access to secondary education and create conducive learning environments for students across the country.
