Gomoa Ajumako chiefs demand government action over boundary dispute, violence

Obrempong Nyamful Krampah XI is Omanhene of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area The Gomoa Ajumako Divisional Chiefs have called on the government to take immediate action over recent violence, boundary concerns and land administration issues affecting Gomoa Ahwer Nkwanta and surrounding communities.

According to a statement issued on September 5, 2026, the chiefs made the demand in a resolution adopted at the Omanhene’s Palace on Friday, September 4, 2026, following a meeting chaired by the Omanhene of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempong Nyamful Krampah XI.

According to the resolution, the Traditional Council has documentary, customary, judicial and administrative records defining the recognised boundaries of the area.
