The Executive Director of Lakeside Estate and Silver Star Tower, Salah Kwaku Kalmoni, described the Corporate Run and Walk as “a race of impact”, noting that the initiative has consistently prioritised social impact over competition.

Speaking at the launch, the Chief Executive Officer of Global Media Alliance, Ernest Boateng, reiterated that the initiative had over the past sixteen years, evolved into more than just a corporate fitness event.

Boateng explained that the event is built around the values of health, unity and inclusion, adding that 25 per cent of the proceeds from the event will once again be donated to the Ghana Blind Union to support persons living with visual impairment.
