According to a press release issued by the Ghana Police Service, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, the suspects were arrested as part of ongoing investigations into the incident which reportedly left the former lawmaker injured.

The Police further stated that investigations so far indicate that armed security personnel at the residence allegedly discharged firearms during the incident, resulting in an injury to Sarah Adwoa Safo.
