Ghana EXIM Bank’s industrialisation strategy takes shape as Northshore Apparel Hub prepares for launch

Speaking ahead of the inauguration, the Chief Executive of Ghana EXIM Bank, Sylvester Adinam Mensah, said the Bank's investment in the Northshore Apparel Hub reflects its commitment to building productive industries capable of transforming the Ghanaian economy.

The Chief Executive Officer of Northshore Apparel Ghana Limited, Nurideen Mohammed, described the facility as a strong example of the capacity of Ghanaian-owned businesses to undertake large-scale industrial ventures and compete internationally.

The wholly Ghanaian-owned apparel manufacturing facility, developed by Northshore Apparel Ghana Limited with funding support from Ghana EXIM Bank and other partners, is expected to create 3,000 jobs in its first phase and up to 10,000 jobs when fully operational.
