GETFund, UNESCO partner to strengthen AI and digital skills in Ghana’s TVET sector

The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) to strengthen digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills development across Ghana's Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions."This signing ceremony marks a strategic milestone in UNESCO's shared commitment to transforming education in Ghana through innovation, partnership and digital transformation," he said.

Stakeholders described the partnership as timely, noting that integrating AI and digital skills into TVET education would help bridge the gap between classroom instruction and the needs of industry.
