German company Bayer to invest $2.2b in new US production site

The new facility in New Albany in the US state of Ohio will combine the manufacture of pharmaceutical active ingredients and finished medicines on a single site and is set to create about 600 highly skilled jobs.

Bayer has invested more than $7 billion in pharmaceutical research and development as well as production in the US over the past five years.2 billion in a new production site in the United States.
