Gender Minister visits Gambaga camp, pledges support for residents

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has concluded her three-day working to the Northern and North East Regions with a to the Gambaga Alleged Witches Camp in the East Mamprusi Municipality.

She assured them that the government would explore sustainable solutions, including improved social amenities and permanent shelter, while working with traditional authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate family reintegration where possible.

During an interaction with residents, the Minister heard concerns over the need for permanent shelter, access to clean water and other essential social services.
