Deployment of AI rakes in GH¢1bn a month for GRA - Deputy Chief of Staff calls for enhanced Ghana, Burkina Faso collaboration

The deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public service has yielded record returns, with the Ghana Revenue Authority's (GRA) AI trade valuation platform collecting GH¢1 billion in a single month, the Deputy Chief of Staff in Charge of Administration has said.

Ms Bampoe Addo called for deeper collaboration between Ghana and Burkina Faso on some of those public policy reforms, stressing that AI and human capital investment held the key to both nations’ success.

Addressing the maiden international edition of the Human Resource (HR) Café in Accra last Monday, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo said the AI-driven reforms at the Passport Office, the GRA and the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority had cut bureaucratic bottlenecks, improved turnaround times and boosted revenue and transparency.
