Court issues bench warrant for NPP communicator who allegedly threatened to kill EOCO staff

According to the prosecution, in a video recorded on May 29, 2026, the accused allegedly stated: “We know the officers’ houses, we know where they stay and we will kill you.

After hearing the prosecution, the court issued a bench warrant for Asiedu’s arrest and adjourned the case to August 25, 2026.” The prosecution further alleged that on July 13, 2026, Asiedu appeared in another video claiming that there was “an order from above, the Presidency, that no one should bring food to Dennis Miracles Aboagye,” who was then in EOCO custody assisting with investigations.
