Baffour Awuah thanks Bawumia, NPP supporters after GH¢10m bail

Manhyia South Member of Parliament Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah has thanked Ghanaians, the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), his parliamentary colleagues, family and supporters for the solidarity shown to him following his detention by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).” The MP specifically thanked NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, his fellow Members of Parliament, the party’s leadership and entire membership, as well as his family, friends and sympathisers.
He denied charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and dissipation of public funds, intentionally causing financial loss to the state and money laundering, including an allegation that he facilitated the transfer of GH¢1 million to the then Managing Director of SIC Life in 2024.
