Are our gyms saving lives or quietly becoming sites of preventable death?

The Ghana Red Cross Society, educational institutions, public health agencies, and community organizations should be empowered to rebuild a culture in which ordinary citizens know how to respond during the first critical minutes of a medical emergency.A modern fitness facility without CPR-trained personnel, emergency protocols, first-aid systems, accessible ambulance routes, and emergency response procedures should not be considered fully prepared for the environment in which it operates.Although exercise-related cardiac events remain relatively uncommon, survival often depends on immediate recognition, prompt CPR, and rapid access to emergency medical care.
