AGRA strengthens access to agribusinesses finance for youth, women

AGRA At the event, the Youth, Gender and Enterprise Development Lead at AGRA Ghana, Ruhia Abubakar, said the Deal Room had evolved from previous initiatives aimed at exposing young entrepreneurs to opportunities at the African Food Systems Forum.

Fifteen youth and women-led agribusinesses have pitched innovative business ideas to investors and industry experts under the 2026 AGRA Ghana Deal Room initiative, which is aimed at improving access to finance, markets and strategic partnerships for emerging enterprises.

The programme also aims to prepare selected businesses for participation in the African Food Systems Forum (AFSF) Deal Room in Rwanda in September, where they will engage potential investors and business partners from across the continent.
