The Communications Superintendent of AGA, Richard Ansong, emphasised that sanitation remained a key component of the company’s community development agenda and stressed the importance of collaboration among the Mine, assemblies and residents.
The intervention formed part of AGA's Keeping Obuasi Clean Campaign (KOCC), launched in 2019, and aligned with the company’s 10-year Socio-Economic Development Plan (SEDP), which prioritises sanitation, water and strategic partnerships for sustainable community development.
