Afenyo-Markin extortion allegations: OSP receives three petitions, begins assessment
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) says it has taken note of allegations of extortion and related conduct made by the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, against the Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
He has maintained that his actions concerning GoldBod and the Bank of Ghana’s Domestic Gold Purchase Programme are part of his constitutional responsibility as Minority Leader to provide parliamentary oversight.
