Bernard Mornah, the disqualified flagbearer of the People's National Convention (PNC), has expressed his frustration with Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC) following his disqualification from the presidential race.

Appearing on Joy News' Newsfile program, Mornah described the EC as "lazy" and called out what he views as the unfair and trivial grounds for his disqualification.

In his critique, Mornah pointed to errors made by the EC on their own nomination forms, stating that they had mistakenly referred to a candidate's "personal records" by writing "six" instead of "sex." This, he argued, showcases the Commission's own incompetence. "The EC made mistakes in its own nomination forms," Mornah emphasized, saying these forms spoke to critical details such as names, voter ID numbers, and polling stations, yet still contained avoidable errors. "Who disqualifies somebody on the basis of trivialities and tangential issues?" Mornah questioned.
