Nana Kwesi Asiedu, the Chief of Adubinso Kese, a suburb of Afigya Kwabre in the Ashanti Region, has urged private developers within his jurisdiction to provide their documents for verification before they continue work.

Addressing a press conference at his palace to explain the reason behind his current directive, the chief disclosed that the action was meant to protect developers from any future consequences.

According to him, a nine-member committee has been set up to verify the legibility of the developers' documents, citing that most of them are not secured since they did not acquire the lands through the appropriate means.

The chief who has made a new layout for the Adubinso Kese township with the approval from the Afigya Kwabre South district said the directive has also been necessitated to enable the committee to check if the developers were in conformity with the layout.
