A former Council of State member and current Omanhen of the Abeadze Traditional Area in the Central Region, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, has made a fervent appeal to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, to accept the concerns raised by certain political parties for an audit of voters' register.
His plea follows the recent demonstration by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) dubbed 'Enough is Enough'.
The leading opposition party was joined by some identifiable pressure groups and civil society organizations to demand an audit of the voter register.
Addressing the media at his Palace in Domanase, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII noted that if a stakeholder has raised concerns that the register is not credible and that an audit of it will solve this defect, the EC must heed to this.
