Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has urged the people of Ghana to give him the nod to lead the country.

He argues that as a country, Ghana needs leadership that will work with and for the people and not against the people.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, who was commenting on the recent arrest and remand of protesters, indicated that the country needs a government that is not scared of the voice of the people. "Ghana desperately needs a government that works for and with the people, not against it.

Ghana needs a government that is not scared of the people's voice but will listen to it and work with civil society to solve our nation's challenges," he said.
