The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Constituency and Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has urged trainee nurses and midwives to prioritise permanent jobs over unpaid allowances.
Addressing a joint gathering of students of Essiama Nursing and Midwifery Training College and Asanta SDA Nursing and Midwifery School at Essiama, the Deputy Minority Leader said the government has been dishonest about the payment of the allowances that it promised trainee nurses and midwives.
He was speaking during a campaign tour of the vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof.
Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, to the Ellembelle Constituency on Tuesday.
