Addressing the issue during Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, Allotey Jacobs rebuked the demonstrators saying "there is no galamsey pit in Accra...The essence of demonstration is when you demonstrate at those galamsey pit areas.
Look, they will not feel it if you demonstrate in Accra making noise and wielding placards".
