The Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly in the Western Region has commissioned the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) at Nyanso, to address road network challenges within the municipality.
In a brief address, Mr.
Benjamin Kessie, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) said through the DRIP, the assembly had gotten a grader, roller compactor, back hole, water tanker, tipper trucks, and concrete mixers.
The MCE appealed to the residents to unite and help protect the equipment when they were dispatched to work in their community, adding, "I don't want us to record any unfortunate incident like batteries to the equipment had been stolen or siphoning of fuel as it happened elsewhere". "The DRIP is strictly for road construction.
