Flagbearer of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah, has emphasised the party's focus on addressing the needs of Ghanaians through a more accessible approach to governance.

In a recent interview on JoyNews, she announced the CPP's plan to implement a 'Government For Your Doorstep Programme' as a way of shifting from the traditional top-down governance approach.

She noted that while Ghana has, arguably, one of the best decentralisation systems of governance, it has not been effectively implemented.

According to her, the proposed programme will give citizens direct access to governance. "I will initiate a 'Government For Your Doorstep Programme', where you can walk to your government sector and make complaints.
