The Technical University Senior Administrators' Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) has hinted at plans to embark on a nationwide strike by the end of September 2024 if their demands are not met.

In a statement issued on Sunday, 8 September 2024, the association expressed its growing frustration over the government's ongoing failure to uphold their collective bargaining agreement, despite numerous assurances.

TUSAAG specifically criticised the government for not implementing revised allowances for senior members of public universities, a directive issued by the Ministry of Finance in May 2024.

The association called this inaction a clear violation of their rights.
