Leader and flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has said when he's given the mandate to be the president at the polls in December, he'll establish a programme that will enable every Ghanaian child to receive an amount of GH₵500 while unemployed youth with get GH₵700 as a benefit.
According to him, the money will be paid from the coffers of the central government. "All the children in Ghana below 18 years would be paid by the government of Ghana an amount of GH₵500 as child benefit.
Those who are above 18 years old and unemployed will be paid GH₵700 as an unemployment benefit" he promised.
On her part, the running mate said the LPG will be a listening government. "We will listen to your concerns, we'll learn from your experience, we'll lead with integrity and compassion".
All parliamentary candidates on the ticket of the LPG in the Volta region and some other constituencies from across the country were present and were officially introduced by the flagbearer to the constituents.
