An aged protestor, who seemed very unhappy with the illegal mining menace, joined the #SayNoToGalamsey protest to air her grievances.
According to Naa Densua, she felt compelled to join the fight because there would be nothing left for the next generation as result of the degradation the canker also known as 'galamsey' has caused to the environment.
She showed the JoyNews team a bottle containing a sample of polluted water, which she said was from the Pra River while shouting, "Who will drink?
Who will drink?" When asked why she joined the protest despite her advanced age, she explained that the fight was not about her but for her grandchildren.

She also said that the menace has gone on for far too long and that this was one of the best opportunities to speak truth to power.
