A Facebook post by former CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has sparked heated debate after he accused veteran journalist Kwasi Pratt Jnr.
of blatant hypocrisy over the dismissal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
According to Ofosu Nkansah, Pratt was badly exposed during Peace FM's Kokrokoo political discussion on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, hosted by Kwame Sefa Kayi.
On the programme, Pratt defended former President John Mahama's decision to dismiss the Chief Justice, insisting it was "rightly done within the law and the constitution." However, when co-panellist Nana Akomea pressed him about his reaction to a similar decision by President Akufo-Addo in 2018 to remove Electoral Commissioner Charlotte Osei, Pratt claimed he could not recall.
