Ghana's U17 national team, the Black Starlets, have discovered their path to the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after being placed in Group A of the WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship, the official qualifying tournament for the continental showpiece.

Thursday's draw in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, saw seven teams split into two groups.

Host nation Ivory Coast headline Group A alongside Ghana, Niger, and Togo, while Group B will feature three teams vying for the remaining qualification spots.

The championship will take place in Yamoussoukro from September 20 to October 3, 2025.
