Dr Eric Bempong, a lecturer at KAAF University, has warned the country's security apparatus to intervene in what he termed as a "pending danger" between the Dormaahene, President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs and Paramount Chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II and the Asantehene, .
According to the university don, Dormaahene's recent utterances could spark a conflict with unimaginable consequences if care is not taken.
Citing historical incidents, Dr Bempong recalled that the ongoing Bawku conflict between the Kusasi and Mamprusi ethnic groups in northern Ghana, which has escalated, began with similar provocations.
