Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has touted his credentials to show that he is the best person to lead the (NPP) to the 2028 general election after filing his nomination for the party's presidential primaries on August 28, 2025.
According to Bawumia, he has gained the accolade of the 'most effective Vice President' because of the transformational policies he spearheaded when he served under former President .
He asserted that being the best Vice President Ghana has ever seen, only means that he could be one of the best presidents in the country's history, if given the chance to lead the nation. "This implies that, given the opportunity, I can equally become one of the most effective presidents in Ghana's history.
I demonstrated my strength by getting results, not by making noise or by insults or bragging about money," he said.
