English-born Ghanaian forward Daniel Adu-Adjei has opened up on his decision to join Croatian giants HNK Rijeka.  The 20-year-iold striker signed a four-year deal to join Rijeka from English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.

Adu-Adjei who looked to be on course for first team chances at Bournemouth after a successful pre-season decided to go for a new challenge following Rijeka's hue interest. "I'm glad to be here, I'm excited to play for Rijeka.

I like the family atmosphere that prevails at the club, from the management to all the employees, and I'm looking forward to it," he said.  "I felt that the club really wanted me and that is the main reason why I am here.

I can't wait to meet the teammates and fans and play for the first team.
