Aspiring flagbearer of the (NPP), Dr , has congratulated the NPP-USA New York Chapter on its 33rd anniversary, describing the milestone as evidence of the Chapter's sustained role in supporting the Party's growth over three decades.
The New York Chapter, established as one of the earliest diaspora branches of the NPP, commemorated its anniversary under the theme "33 Years of Devoted Service, Patriotism and Commitment: Reigniting the Base, Rebuilding with Our Core Values in Unity." In a goodwill message, Dr Acheampong praised the Chapter's members for their loyalty and contributions to the Party's activities, noting that such support has been vital in strengthening the NPP's presence beyond Ghana's borders. "Your 33 years of devoted service stand as proof that the NPP is more than a political organization - it is a family bound by values, patriotism, and commitment to Ghana's progress," his message read.
Dr Acheampong used the occasion to connect the Chapter's anniversary to his wider message of rebuilding and unifying the Party.
He argued that a renewed and united NPP would be necessary for electoral competitiveness in 2028 and subsequent elections. "I am offering myself to lead because I believe the NPP must rebuild from within, reigniting the base and restoring confidence.
