Renowned Ghanaian blogger, YouTuber, and social media marketer, Zion Felix, has expressed deep concern over the rising cases of online fraud involving the use of celebrity identities. In a heartfelt post on Facebook, the award-winning blogger revealed that scammers have been using his name, as well as those of popular personalities like Nana Ama McBrown, Giovani Caleb, and Magraheb, to deceive unsuspecting people.
According to him, the fraudulent activities are leaving victims emotionally and financially distressed."My heart is heavy… The way people are being defrauded online these days is truly heartbreaking.
Scammers are using the names of McBrown, Giovani, Magraheb, and even myself to deceive innocent people, robbing them of their hard-earned money and their peace," he lamented.
He added that it is painful to know that innocent fans and followers are being misled and made to suffer because of lies spread in their names.
