The Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen (GNAFF) has formally petitioned the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to take disciplinary action against Dr David Tenkorang Twum, General Secretary of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA).
The Association is seeking action against Dr Tenkorang due to what it deems as "derogatory and unprovoked" comments.
In a statement released by GNAFF, it referenced a radio interview Dr Tenkorang had on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen programme on August 22, 2025, wherein he allegedly made offensive remarks about the Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, as well as Ghanaian farmers.
The Association maintains that such conduct is unbecoming of a professional leader whose position demands integrity and respect.
