Ghanaian forward Prince Obeng Ampem came off the bench to inspire Eyupspor to their first win of the 2025/26 Turkish Super Lig campaign, netting the decisive goal in a 2-1 triumph over Alanyaspor on Monday.  The Purple-Yellows, who had lost their opening two league games, were under pressure to respond at the Eyup Stadium, and they got off to a dream start when Slovenian midfielder Svit Seslar opened the scoring inside the very first minute.

Eyupspor maintained their intensity throughout the first half but failed to add to their advantage.

Alanyaspor grew stronger after the break and found the equalizer in the 67th minute through their Kosovan striker, silencing the home crowd.

But the game turned on its head when Ampem, introduced in the 59th minute for Serdar Gürler, produced a moment of brilliance.
