Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has penned a message of gratitude to fans of AFC Bournemouth following their incredible show of support after he suffered an episode of racist abuse during their opening game against Liverpool a week ago.  The Cherries, during their league game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, stood up to applaud the striker in the 24th minute as a form of support for their number 24.

A man was arrested and later granted bail for his action toward the Ghana international.

He has also been banned from all match venues in England.

Meanwhile, Smeneyo, who netted twice in the 4-2 defeat to Liverpool, had provided the assist for the winner against Wolves early in the match.
