English-born Ghanaian forward Daniel Adu-Adjei has sealed a permanent transfer from English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth to Croatian outfit HNK Rijeka in a deal worth around 1.2 million Pounds.
The 19-year-old striker, who rose through Bournemouth's academy system, will travel to Croatia on Monday to undergo his medical before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract.
Adu-Adjei has been tipped as one of Ghana's most promising young forwards, and the move is seen as a crucial step towards gaining regular first-team experience.
Despite enjoying a prolific spell with Bournemouth's Development Squad - where he scored 25 goals in just 16 matches during the 2024/25 campaign - opportunities in the Cherries' senior side remained limited.
