Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has undergone a spiritual cleansing ritual at the Teshie Next Door Beach, days after he was granted bail by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
According to a report by citinewsroom.com on August 24, 2025, the ritual, led by Teshie Gbuglah Mantse, Original Nii Martey Laryea I, is believed to be a traditional act to rid the musician of any negative energy or spiritual burden following his recent legal issues.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, was invited for interrogation in connection with a luxury Lamborghini Urus that is linked to a $4 million fraud case under investigation by US authorities.
He was granted bail on Thursday, August 21, with his initial GHS 10 million bail reduced to GHS 5 million with two sureties.
