Hong Kong topflight side Biu Chun Rangers have announced the signing of Ghanaian central midfielder Abbey Agbodzie.  The 25-year-old signed signed a deal to join the club, also referred to as Hong Kong Rangers, for the 2025/26 season.

Agbodzie joined his new teammates on Thursday and took part in the pre-season friendly against Eastern District. "I'm delighted to be joining Standard Rovers in this beautiful city.

When I received the offer, I thought it was a great opportunity.

Luckily, there are other Ghanaian players on the team, which will definitely help me adapt," said the midfielder.  The 25-year-old joins Ghanaian duo Nassam Ibrahim and Maxwell Ansah who he has known from his days in the West African nation during their youth football period. "I've known them for a long time.
