The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed tactician Salifu Fatawu to take charge of the national U-15 boys' team as its head coach.
The FA announced the appointment of the experienced tactician on Thursday, August 21, in an official notice. "Experienced trainer Salifu Fatawu has been appointed as the new head coach of the national U-15 boys' team.
Fatawu brings with him a rich coaching background, having led Kpando Heart of Lions to qualification into the Ghana Premier League from the Division One League," the GFA said in a statement on its website.
In the past, Salifu Fatawu served as assistant coach to Karim Zito when the Black Satellites clinched the U-20 WAFU Championship in Benin in 2020 and went on to win the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Mauritania in 2021.
