President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, is optimistic that Ghana's inflation rate will be reduced to a single digit by the close of the year.
According to him, the government is currently re-establishing the macro stability and the growth momentum of the economy.
He noted that hitherto this period, ie 2024, the country's inflation had skyrocketed to 23%; however, with the coming of his government and their work on the economy, the country's inflation is now 13.7%.
The President is hopeful that, as better managers of the economy, the country will see single-digit inflation by the close of the year.
