The , on August 16, 2025, paid tribute to the eight victims who died in the helicopter crash.

The Ministry, led by Chief Director Desmond Boateng, together with other directors, laid flowers in honour of the victims at the Jubilee House.

The gesture formed part of activities to mourn the departed. "We are here this morning, myself and management, to come and lay our flowers because of the tragedy that befell this nation, so we felt it was important to lay flowers in their memory," the Chief Director Desmond Boateng said.

The crash of the Z9 helicopter, which belonged to the Ghana Armed Forces, claimed the lives of Defence Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah and Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed.
